Poetry: Winning Gold

I’m no sprinter,
But, take leaps of faith

I’m no swimmer,

But, stretch my spirit forward

I’m no gymnast,

But, I bounce back resiliently

I’m no hurdler,

But, have surpassed every roadblock

I’m no weightlifter

But, can raise my spirits

I’m no Olympian

But won gold, my life
